Salt Lake Salvage Draw in Stoppage



Sandy, UT - Real Salt Lake's Alvaro Saborio headed home the equalizing goal at the end of stoppage time in front of 19,970 fans at the RioT on a preferable April evening along the Wasatch Front. Seattle's Steve Zakuani scored in the 11th to put the visitors up early, but RSL's Will Johnson struck back in the 53rd minute with a diving, smashing header that flashed by Sounders keeper Kasey Keller, who's jump to attempt a save was all for naught. Nat Borchers was the unlucky recipient of an own goal, allowing Seattle to go one up with little time left, but Nelson Gonzalez found Saborio for the assist and the much deserved draw.
