Last time Chicago Fire was in town, Cuauhtemoc Blanco scored a golazo in stoppage time to level the score at one’s in front of thousands of his followers at Rice-Eccles Stadium in Salt Lake City.
Bakary Soumare provided RSL its lone goal with a sloppy clearance resulting in an OG in the 71st. And just as it appeared RSL would earn full points, Cuauh matched with an amazing strike that ended RSL's season opener on a sour note.
